Shay was punctual and went above and beyond to help us with our lock needs. We have an old brass lock in our NDG home... and he fixed it & took the time to explain what he was doing. Shay took the time to make several different adjustments to make sure our old door latched smoothly. Such an improvement! Did I mention that this was all on top of fixing the lock on the other door that we called him for? Shay answered all our questions about our locks in our home that is new to us, and he gave tips for weather stripping that we can install to save money & prevent loss of heat. It's not a 24 hour company as advertised. Someone responded that there was no one available to work. It was a terrible... day as i had lost my bunch of keys in transit unknowingly. There was no where to sleep as at 11.30pm when I got home..it was freezing . I had to sleep on the staircase in my fall jacket. Please always advertise what your company is capable of doing. Shay has been my locksmith ever since I bought my building 10 years ago. Many of the door frames changed over the... years due to work done by neighbours, the City and myself (foundation work) and locks had to be replaced or adjusted. I originally thought he was a nice guy. He ultimately did not install our lock properly, nor was he willing to rectify... the poor installation. He was dishonest in shifting blame to the lock and door manufacturers rather than acknowledging his own installation shortcomings. Save yourself grief and go with another locksmith.read more
